June 25 2026 Decided
U.S. Supreme Court · 6–3 Decision · June 25, 2026

The Supreme Court Ruled on Haiti & Syria TPS.
The Fight Continues.

On June 25, the Supreme Court ruled 6–3 that the administration may move forward with terminating TPS for Haiti and Syria, holding that courts cannot review these termination decisions. This is a painful blow to more than 350,000 Haitian and 6,000 Syrian community members. If you hold TPS from Haiti or Syria, talk to an immigration attorney about your options as soon as possible. CUSP's cases for South Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Yemen, and Burma are not directly affected by this ruling, and those protections remain in place.
